Landed for a business trip and had a full sized car reserved at Alamo. Go down to grab the car and they are out of full sized. The girl working the counter is getting flustered with the folks ahead of me and I casually ask if I can have the Mustang Convertable in the specialty row. She says, “If the keys are in it you can have it.” Bingo. If I can find a gap in the rain tomorrow the top is coming down.

I did that once. Landed a challenger. It was all fun and games until we got the bill. Then it was a battle with the boss to approve the upgrade on my expense report. :/
